Can't wait for this week's deals and the new July deals on Tuesday! It's going to be a good week for deals!

I think the Crest coupon is only $1/2...unless there is another one that people got that I'm not showing.

I was able to get 3 of the Oral-B toothbrushes and it didn't say I had purchased the limit.

Hold on to your coupons for B1G1 free on Hershey's bliss. I just went tonight and my CRT printed out a $1.00 off Hershey's bliss coupon. I combined that with the Hershey's B1G1 free coupon and got a good deal on some sweet and yummy choclate!

I haven't been getting any CRT's, and I've only been getting a CVS water coupon and a CVS sunscreen coupon at the scanner. Am I doing something wrong? I also purchased 1 package of the Bounty and 3 packages of batteries (they were always out of the Charmin), but didn't get the ECBs. I did two transactions; first with Bounty and batteries, the second with 2 batteries. Anyone know why it didn't work? And is there anything I can do to correct it? Thanks!

I have a $5/$30 from an email, so I want to make the most of it. Here's what I came up with.

1 Diabetes Monitoring Kit 9.99
1 Physician Mascara 7.99
1 Bic Soliel Razor 6.99
1 Bic Soliel refill 6.99

-$5/30
-2 $4/1
-18.00 ECB
OOP: $.96
ECB's earned: $22.98

I'm new to the whole CVS thing, but I'm very happy with this transaction.

Crystal, the Crest P&G Coupon from 6/01 is $1/2 not $1/1 . . just thought people might want to know.

Random happy CVS experience today - Went to CVS today for paper towels (bounty basic) and toilet paper. They only had the 9 pack of toilet paper but the sign said that it could be substituted. Imagine my dismay when the computer didn't print the ECB for $10. The lovely manager (who is accustomed to my visits) came over and handed me $10 in cash. First time this has happened, so I was delighted!

Crystal,
Reporting that the Coppertone Baby stick sunscreens ($4.79 at my CVS) are producing 10 ECBs WYB 2. Just did it on both of my cards early this a.m. before church. Small moneymaker

I am wondering if I am the only person having a hard time printing the CVS brand coupon. I put it at 50% and the whole half bottom of it is cut off. I tried going larger and still is not printing right. Any ideas?

Also...Crystal could you give us a rundown of what is changing with the rules of CVS as far as coupons. Do you think they will come off with another $/ coupon again or are they not accepting and doing this anymore. There seems to be alot of talk but no word of what is the truth.

I appreciate the time and effort running this blog.

Mom to four~ 13,5,4,and 2 yrs.

The Coppertone deal works with the facesticks ($4.49 ea) for a $1 moneymaker.

I did 3 separate transactions and with my crts, email coupons and regular coupons, they paid me $7.27! See my blog! I also went dumpster diving at the thrift store this morning and got some good books for my little girl.

There is a refund if not satisfied with the Right Guard here- http://www.rightguard.com/guarantee.cfm?prods=pro

CVS trip

I went this afternoon and ran into a few problems. First the mascara rang up at $5.99 and didn't print off the ECBs. Then my coupon for lifesavers wouldn't go through (I even got 4 bags thinking since I was buying 2 and getting 2 free the coupon would go through as it had already failed to go through at a grocery store that was running the same deal when I only got 2 bags). I got a refund for the mascara and since it wasn't ringing up correctly, they gave it to me for free. I left the lifesavers on the order because I needed a $30 order to use my $5/$30 and with the mascara ringing up $2 cheaper I needed a $2 filler (I had already planned on paying for one bag, just not the second). So in the end it all worked out. Just wanted to let people know they might run into a few problems this week. Looking forward to all the July deals! =o) I'm in central Maryland.

My Crest coupon is $1/2 and the limit is 1 in the ad.

My CVS trip was good - but I will have to stop in at another location because "my" store didn't have the mascara at all. Not just out of it, helpful associate and I looked and there wasn't a sign for that type on the wall or anywhere else we looked. That seemed odd to me thta one of their featured items wasn't even stocked in the store.

Oh well, got lots of macadamias and cashews and the candy. BTW - I got three Lifesavers bags free. The computer wouldn't let me use both of the B1G1 Qs. Still, not bad!

I was able to purchase 2 of the coppertone waterbabies sunblock sticks for $4.79 each and get my $10 ecb's. It printed out with no problems. There was no sign that it worked but I read on AFC that it was working. I tried it and sure enough it worked with no problems. It's the pink sticks that are 30spf, net wt 0.6oz :)I like these b/c they are easy to keep in the diaper bag at all times.

You can supposedly go here for the Listerine Smart Rinse rebate. I'm going to try it, since I bought some bottles for the ECB moneymaker this month.

I'm not sure how to get the "insert" coupons that you mention. Are they in a local paper, or a subscription magazine of some type? Sorry, I'm really new to this and don't know where to look. Thanks!

Bought 2 Coppertones for 11.69 and 9.99
used $4/20 face care CRT,
10.59 ECB
7.40 OOP
and 10 ECB back.
Not bad for something we really need.

I bought two Coppertone Face Stick for $5.99 each and received $10 ECBs. I had a $3/15 CRT so I was happy :)

Just wondering what the ECB offers and balances mean.
My receipt says:

Listerine, Buy 1 Get $3.49 EB
Quantity Toward this reward 2
Quantity Needed to Earn Reward 1
I thought you could only do this deal twice and I did so what's the "reward"
Thanks!!

I had a $3 off 1 Physicians Formula coupon that I found a little while back laid out on a display table at my local CVS. They took it for the mascara deal and I got a $3 overage! Yeah baby!!!

Bought Crest toothpaste for $1.99 and used $1.00 off coupon (mine was $1.00 off 1). Also bought the Physicians Formula mascara and used $1.00 coupon on that as well. Used $3.98 ECBs from the bandaids I bought last week, and $4.00 ECBs from Colgate last week--Total Cost $9.98, total off from coupons and ECBs $9.98--paid nothing! Not to mention I got $8.99 in ECBs for next time!!

My Walmart had boxes containing 2 Suddenly Salad Mixes in them for $1.25. I was able to use 2 internet printed coupons for $0.40 and get them for $0.85 cents each. There's also coupons for Suddenly Salads in this week's Sunday coupon insert for $0.50/2. Thought I'd pass the info along. Maybe they have these in other Walmart's.

I'm new to the CVS things too, this is my third week. I finally posted on my blog about my experience! I'm bummed though that I didn't use my $4/$20 coupons that I had which expired today. That would have meant even less ECBs used on my two transactions today! Thanks for keeping the info coming to us!

I went to CVS today and did the mascara deal, the coppertone baby face sticks deal and the Kashi deal (2/$5- use the $2 off online coupon for Kashi).

Another great deal I found... If you have gotten the coupon book in the mail that Moneysaving mom posted recently... there are several Swiffer coupons in the booklet. I was able to get and the Swiffer sweeper starter kit and 24 mop refill pads for around $1.50. Great deal!

I have 2 $2/1 coupons for the Schick Intuition razors and refills. Does anyone know if I can use them with the B1G1 deal to get $4 off total?

Saw where someone in MD was having trouble with the mascara. Mine rang up fine 7.99 and I got 7.99 back. The Physicians formula Mascara was in a small location spot on the wall--no big "Physician's Formula" sign above like other make-up manufacures such as Maybeline or Almay--I just scrolled the aisle and found a small section of this brand of make-up. Luckily my CVS had 4 quite a bit in stock too. So I am getting the word out to my friends to go grab their free mascara!

There is a BOGO coupon for Stayfree pads in the Redplum flyer in this Sunday's paper. I used that and ended up getting 2 packages for 4.99 minus the 1.50 ECB.

Anyone know what the limit is on the monthly Oral B 2-pk? I bought 3 and my receipt doesn't say limit reached.

I got my rebate for the Listerine on Saturday and they also included some coupons!!

For Sarah,
I tried to use 2 $4 off the B1G1 Intuition deal and the register beeped and would only take 1 on the coupons. The cashier said that it was because you already got one for free. I would bet that applies to everything that is B1G1. This seems like it may be a new change to the rules because I remember doing this before and both coupons were taken. Anyone have a different experience?

The Coppertone sticks are working in PA too. They are priced at $5.49 here. I was able to get them, the mascara, right guard, and some other stuff, used my $5/$30 and made a few bucks. yey! I also picked up another sunday paper, because there are some good coupons for the July deals in there.

I used the $2/1 cvs skincare on cotton balls that were under $2 for free cotton balls w/ overage!

I also went today to CVS to take advantage of the B1G1 sale on Lifesavers candy. I was told that they are "updating" their system and wouldn't take the bogo coupons combined with the bogo sales. The shift leader came up and took the coupons off for me, though. Has anyone heard about this policy change? Is this company wide or just store wide?

It's not as much fun without $/$$ coupons, so I tried to update my email address per your suggestion (to get $4/$20 coupon), but nothing happened. How long does it normally takes to get the coupon emailed?

Also, thanks for the heads up about the Coppertone sticks. They were $5.99 here, but still a good deal for something we need.

I would just like to thank you for this wonderful website! I have just started clipping coupons and searching for a way to cut our grocery bill down. I'm a stay at home mom and want to save us as much money as possible, and thanks to you I have been very sucessful so far! I haven't tackeled CVS yet but I have used their ads for Walmart to price match! I was able to get Kashi cereals for .50 w/ my coupons last night, even the new Kashi Vive cereal for .50! In all I saved 30.00 last night w/ all my coupons! I was so excited I didn't know what to do w/ myself! Plus I've signed up for all the freebie stuff, just waiting for it to arrive. My husband said if I keep this up I should be able to stay at home w/ our kiddos for a lot longer than planned! So, thank you, thank you, thank you!

If you got the CRT for $1.50 off Speed Stick, you might want to use it this week. After the sale, it is $0.49 (not the greatest but good for raising your speeding amount).

Also, my store had vitamins in their clearance section and they had CVS diapers on clearance too! I don't know if they would work for the CVS diaper deal but you could try.

About the BOGO coupons.... I couldn't use it on the Lifesavers either.

About CRTs and $ / CRTs... I haven't gotten any good ones lately either, and no $ / CRTs. I asked the cashier and she said that it was a momentary thing because the quartly ECBs were about to come out. ??? Okay.

I purchased:
$6.99 - Right Guard Professional Strength (coupon for $1 off)
$6.99 - Bic Soleil (coupon for $4)
$6.99 - Bic Soleil refill (coupon for $2)
$5.99 - Natural Instincts (coupon for $4)
$1.99 - Crest (coupon for $1/2 - oops! had to run and grab a second which earned no ECB's - boo)
$1.99 - Crest
$1.99 - CVS Bandaids
$2.19 - Lifesaver candy (coupon for B1G1)
$0 - Second bag of candy as CVS had them on sale

Used $5/30 coupon and $13.98 ECBs for a total of $2.86 OOP (if only I'd read my crest coupon more closely)! And $13.99 ECBs back. I'm new to this, so I was pretty happy with my purchase. The register did beep when my candy coupon was scanned, but the manager (who happened to be checking me out) took a look at it and pushed it through. He did, however tell me that CVS would no longer be accepting coupons printed on a computer due to some lawsuit CVS is involved in. I'll be anxious to hear if anyone else is told this at their stores.

I've been CVSing for about a month now...and had my first EXCELLENT CVS adventure last night...every week it keeps getting better...and I will go back and do the sunscreen and Kashi later this week.

First off: Got a $15 gift card for a new perscription. Used the coupon from 2 weeks ago in the Sunday paper for a $10 gift card at Target w/new script... CVS honors these (and will backdate if you have the receipt)...the guy that did it for me last night said they give an extra $5 on top of it (they didn't do that last time...but..YIPPEE)...

ALSO: We only have one CVS in town...and they are constantly running out of stuff. They will give rain checks for their deals... but the ECB won't print out on your reciept...so they take it straight off of the transaction...which is sort of nice.

Here is what I got on my first transaction:
6 Peg Bags of Lifesavers (Used 3 B1G1 coupon...clerk manually entered it in so it took it..got all 6 for free)
1 Brut Deoderant Stick $2.89 ($1/1 coupon)
1 Crest $1.99 ($1/1 coupon)
1 CVS Aftershave $2.99 ($2/1 CVS coupon)
2 Huggies Nat Care Bath $3.49 ea (2 - $1/1)
1 Bic Solei Razon $6.99 ($4/1 coupon)
1 Bic Solei Refill $6.99 ($4/1 coupon)
1 Old Spice Body Wash Trial Size $1.49 ($1/1 Coupon)
2 Schik Razors Trial Size (Used 2 $2/1 coupons...again had clerk ring it in manually! Woo Hoo!)

Used coupons plus $5/$30 from emailer and $6 ECB (which he applied to the whole amount...giving me an overage)...pretax total of -$1.13 plus tax...OOP = $.50! ECB Earned: $13 (had 3 leftover from last time)...Total ECB= $16

I did the mascara for the second transaction and was even steven...again I didn't end up paying tax? Maybe a new clerk ;)

In sum: I got $53.07 in product... paid $.50 and walked away with $16ECB and a $15 gift card!

Cheap nail polish & Cover Girl moneymaker:
Trolled the beauty clearance & I found:
Diamond Strength Nail polish $1.09
Diamond Strength Nail polish $2.04
-$3/2, for net OOP of .13
Also used my last Cover Girl coupon from the Sunday inserts (expires 6/30):
Smoothwear lip gloss for $1.64
Nail polish .74
-$2 off any Cover Girl lip product
-$1 off any Cover Girl product
Money maker!

Wow! I am learning soo much for everyone. Thank you so much for this site!!! :)

LOOOOOVE your site! You gave me the courage to start trying this CVS thing. Thank you so very much!

Has anyone else had trouble with their $4/20 coupon? I *thought* everyone used it more than once (even though it says one per customer), but on Sunday I had an awful time trying to use mine. I know what it says but I've never had an issue until Sunday and THEN my ECB's didn't print for the swiffer deal. I think I will take a break from CVS...

I tried to combine a Pepsi and a Lipton tea to get 1 ECB, but it didn't print out. I didn't really notice till later, so I might go back and see about that. (I did end up getting another Pepsi later, and the 1 ECB printed fine, but another Lipton later on might make a good filler, if indeed it is part of a deal.)

Anybody else have a problem with this?

CVS NEWBIE here! I am in Southern CA and made the following purchase from CVS this morning:

Transaction #1
2 Coppertone Baby Sticks 5.29 ea.
Final Total (incl.tax) = $11.45
ECB earned = $10

Transaction #2
1 Gold Emb Bottled Wtr 24pk. 2.99 ea.
2 Gold Emb Dark Choc Almonds 5.99 ea. BOGO
2 CVS Panty Shields .99 ea.
1 CVS 15ct face towelette 2.99
1 Dasani Water 20oz. 1.29 ea.

Coupons used: $1 off CVS water/$1 off CVS nuts/$2 CVS skin care/$2 off $10 CVS brand/$10 ECB earned on transaction #1

Final Total (incl. bottle deposit & tax) = $0.49
EBC Earned = $2.98 (.99 ea. for liners/$1 for face towelettes - these did not earn $2.99 as with some other folks)

CASH outlay for this trip = $11.94. I am really happy because I needed everything I bought (well, maybe not the chocolate almonds...)

*MOMMY NOTES* Dark Chocolate covered almonds are yummy! The Coppertone sticks work really well for my kids and compact enough to keep in my purse.

Thanks to everyone for the lessons and tips. What a great site!
