I am hoping that the watch will show up. That would work great as I hate wearing a watch around my wrist! Thanks for the great freebies.

Thanks for the ebay e-book freebie. I really enjoyed it and I might try using ebay for the mountain of stuff in my garage instead of having a garage sale. Thanks!

The Macys coupon isnt valid.

Money Saving Mom here:
Jen, from what I understand, it is valid--it's posted on their site and I've received numerous confirmations from people that it is working. Did you have a different experience?

My mom used the Macy's coupon at the downtown St. Louis store today. She was told that the coupon was posted on error by someone at Macy's home office. They still honored the coupon and said they received a memo stating that if anyone brought the coupon in, it would be honored. Whether or not other stores will honor it probably depends on the store.

I have two Macy's in my mall (I know, it's strange...one used to be a Hecht's...), so I printed two of the coupons and went on over. The first Macy's took it no problem - the girl was actually pleased with me and excited that I got my underwear for free. At the second store, there were already two women there arguing with the sales clerk about the coupon - they got theirs in their email, and the clerk wouldn't take it. I came with the same coupon, and asked to speak with a manager. The manager had a similar story to the girl in St. Louis - they had no clue about the coupon, but ended up honoring it (but we had to give our names and phone #s...no biggie). So two pairs of overpriced underwear for me today! :) (seriously...why is cotton underwear $9.50 a pair?? Are they going to wash themselves??)

We had problems with Macy's- they said its a West coast coupon- we're in NY- and furthermore they don't carry that item. They did have 1 pr, and ended up giving us those, after significant hassling. Bad experience.

thank you so much for the ebook about eBay. I have never done anything like this before (not eBay, but asking for free stuff) until I read where one of your readers did it and loved it. I received it the very next day! I am fairly new to your blog and love it. Thanks.
Posted by: Karen | June 03, 2008 at 10:43 PM
I was told by a friend that the coupon isn't valid. I guess it depends on the macy's.
Posted by: Jen | June 04, 2008 at 05:38 AM
My pleasure, Christina! Don't ever hesitate to take advantage of a free offer! Even if you can't use it, perhaps someone else can.
Moms + eBay = $$$!! We all have stuff to sell since kids are constantly outgrowing clothes and toys, and it just piles up. There is someone out there somewhere willing to pay for all those unused items that are piled up in your closets and playrooms.
Thanks to all who have contacted me about the free eBook - ovr 600 of you so far. I've enjoyed reading your emails and and hope you can make some extra money on eBay this summer (and beyond). Happy selling!

Thanks Suzanne and Crystal for the eBay report. It was fantastic - easy to follow but plenty of great information for even experienced eBay sellers. I learned things I didn't know after using eBay for 10 years. :)
