Garnier 100% color is BOGO Free--prices are 7.49-8.59 ( I think) and I have coupons for $3.00 off any 100% Vibrant Colors Shade. They expire 8/31 and I am not sure which insert they came from. I am hoping to use 2 of these to get some pretty cheap hair coloring-about $1.00 a box!

The Bayer aspirin coupon will not print, any suggestions, or is there a link to the original site? Thanks!

I got a $3 Excedrin CRT and a $5 off 2 Gas-X or Maalox CRT. I got an 100 ct Excedrin ($10.29) a Gas-X Strips ($5.79) and a Maalox Chewable ($6.49). I also got 2 Sally Hansen Nail Polish ($1.98). I used a a $3/$15, my 2 CRTs, a $3 off 2 Sally Hansen (scaled down to $1.98) a $2 Excedrin Man. Q, a $2 Maalox man q, and a $1.50 Gas-X Man. q. I spent $5.98 in ECB and $0.60 on a gift card and earned $10.00 back!!! I made $3.42 on the deal! Hooray!

Suave body wash is $1.99, then use coupons for $0.50 (exp. 10/5) and B1G1 (exp. 9/14) to bring the total down to $1.49 (or .75 each)

also, Herbal Essence shampoo and conditioner is on sale 2/$5..there is a coupon for $3.00 off 2 floating around (exp. 7/31)

I am planning on buying 6 Herbal Essance shampoos/conditioners for $15. I'll use the 3/15 coupon and then 3 of the $3 off the purchase of 2 shampoos/conditioners coupons. I'll pay $3 for 6 of them....or $0.50 each!! (Now I wish I had more coupons!)

How long does it take to get the $4/$20 coupon in email. I registered online over a week ago. Called customer service a few days ago, and they said it could take 2-3 weeks. Is this typical? The 3/15 coupon will do for the time being, but I'm starting to worry I'm not going to get it!

This may be a kinda dumb question...but what is a smart source insert? Does it come in the Sunday paper?

I received a Benefiber coupon in the mail - maybe with a sample? for a free 20 serving bottle or save up to $5.99 wyb any one Benefiber product, plus I received a $2 any Benefiber coupon in the mail from CVS, plus I have all the insert coupons. I'm excited about the possibilities. :) (I should be able to stack the CVS Benefiber coupon with a mfg coupon, right?)

Could you tell me where to get the Beauty Handbook that the Sally hansen coupon was in? I keep looking at CVS, but never find it...of course, our store doesn't have scanners either!
Thanks for the posts!

I'm so thrilled with the photobook deal. I needed a good way to make some ECB's and I'll be getting two Christmas presens with the deal. Awesome! Jennifer http://frugalcooker.blogspot.com/2008/07/cvs-deals-week-of-713-jumping-up-and.html

Another couple of questions! :) I noticed on the 3/15$ coupons that it says "coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy coupon" does that mean that I cannot use it with any coupons I got AT cvs- such as my 5$ off maalox coupon???

Second question- the coupon also says "limit one coupon per customer" so, can I use one with one transaction and than another at the 2cd transaction? (on the same day-same trip??)

Thanks for clearing this up!!!

*****************
Money Saving Mom here: Because CVS does not have a written corporate coupon policy for store coupons, it is left up to the individual store. Most stores will gladly accept both CRTs, one $/$$ coupon, manufacturer's coupons, and ECBs in one transaction. Some stores limit it. You can check with your stores to see what their policy is.

Thanks to you Crystal and everyone else who posts the deals! I have saved so much money with your help and guidance!

It may be worth mentioning to your readers that the CVS flyer is promoting their "Green Dot" prepaid Mastercard and Visa cards, and offering a credit of $9.95 when you use it to make a CVS purchase anytime before August 18! I'm not sure if there is a minimum initial purchase amount or fees involved, but if they let me, I plan on getting one with a $10 balance, then just use it to make my tax payments on my deals each week. Then I'll get the $9.95 credit to use!

Does anyone know if you can get the " beauty handbook " in store? It's on my way and I'd rather pick it up than print off all these coupons!! Is it just lumped in with the regular ads? Thanks!!

The neutrogena mascara is $5.99, earn $4.00 in ECBs, making it $1.99 after ECBs...go here for a $1.00 off coupon, making it only $.99 after ECBs!!

http://www.neutrogena.com/cosmetics.asp?mainVal=cosmetic&subVal=cosmetic

DEAL:

2 Airwick Air Fresheners: $9.98
1 Neutrogena Mascara: $5.99

$3/15 CVS Coupon
(2) $4 off Airwick
(1) $1 off Neutrogena

$3.97 +tax OOP, Earn $4.00 ECBS

I can never get the CVS coupons to print right. I wanted the Sally Hansen coupon but when I print it prints extremely large and the bar codes are missing any suggestions???? I've tried printing at 50% but it still doesn't work. just print smaller still minus the bar codes.

schick razors are BOGO and there is a BOGO coupon in todays paper. Making 2 free razors!

On these photo books, are we able to prepare these books online at home? Is it necessary to go in the store to prepare these books?

My CVS will not allow overage with the beauty coupons. To get the nail polishes for free I had to buy 3 and then the coupon worked. So I got 3 nail polishes for free, which is still a good deal.

The same thing happened with the CVS skincare coupons. The amount of the CVS product has to be over $2 and works if you buy two products that total over $2.

Went to CVS today (Sunday) and got a 15 bottles of nail polish!
Also got a Nice & Easy Color Boosting Glaze off the clearance rack (75% off)
and 2 plastic tableclothes for......16cents + tax OOP! I am so addicted!!!
Thank you for all the pointers and links.
Sharon

Curious, the coupon say $3 off 8x10 collage or enlargement.
Does this mean it works on photobooks?

Oops, my Kodak photobook coupon came out on 5/4 not 6/8 (the 6/8 is for the enlargement). Sorry...For posting the previous question, there is a coupon out there for me.

Head's up: I was not allowed overage on Sally Hansen nail polish so YMMV on the $3/2 coupons. I purchased 4 polishes at $0.99 each and was allowed 1 coupon for $3 and the other was adjusted to $0.96.

where to I go once I click on the airwicks link? I don't see an area for a printable coupon, though I did sign up for the newsletter, etc.

$4.99/AirWick + $4.99/Bayer + $5.99/Neutrogena mascara = $15.97 - $4.00/AirWick - $2.50/Bayer - $1.00/Neutrogena - $3.00/$15 = $5.47/OOP Get $2.00/Bayer ECB + $4.00/Neutrogena ECB

I have seen a lot posted about the beauty handbook. Is this something that you get in the store?

Evian water is B1G1 and use the CVS coupon for $1. Should be almost free if not free.

I did the $7.29 Maalox, $5.79 Ex-lax and $6.89 Benefiber. Used $2, $1, $1.50 coupons as well as a Gas-x, Exlax $3 coupon and a $3/15. Turned out to be a really good deal.

$2.99/15ct makeup remover wipes + 2/$.99/Sally Hansen + $4.99 AirWick + $5.99 Neutrogena = $15.95 - $2/skincare -$1.98 (or $3)/Sally Hansen - $4/AirWick - $1 Neutrogena - $3/$15 = $3.97 GET $1/wipes + $4/Neutrogena

Thanks for doing this each and every week. I am so excited not only to be saving money, but to have enough products left to give as gifts and donations. Glory be to God!

oops! The Schick razors are not BOGO free they are BOGO 1/2 off! Still, with the BOGO free coupon and the sale they are 2 packs for $3.99. Not bad!

I'm sure this is not the right section to post this, but everyone should check out the "Parade" section of their newspaper this week for the cover story about America's thriftiest families! It was interesting! There's also an invitation to post saving tips on their website or benefit from other's ideas (see page 5).

Can you prepare the photobooks from home, or do you have to do it in the store?

In the Parade section of the newspaper there are also coupons. $1 off any oxy product, & $1 off any curel life stages moisturizer.

I'm really excited about the photobook deals. Anyone know if I can create it online and then use my ECB to pay in the store? Or how would that work?

I'm having great success with the Beauty Handbook links printing. I was just wondering if there was a central website that we could use to go directly to view ALL of the Beauty Handbook coupons. I tried the main page, but I only found tips on beauty, not coupon links.
Thanks!

I got the 3 Air Wick Mini Freshmatics and the Gain detergent. I used the $3/$15, (3) $4.00 Freshmatic coupons, and $1 Gain coupon. I used $2.99 in ECB's, paid a little under a dollar OOP and got $2 ECBs back. Thanks for the tip!

Just wanted to confirm what Kim said earlier about the sally hansen coupon being scaled down. The computer will only allow them to take off the $1.98 for 2. I had 2 cashiers try to "push" it through for me, but it wouldn't accept it. I was hoping for some great deals with the overage. You can use more than 1 of that q in a transaction though if you need $5 or so to "freely" get you to $15. For example, I bought 1 neutrogena mascara ($5.99), 1 bayer ($4.99), 4 nail polishes ($3.96), and 1 trial size cvs qtips (.50). I used 3/15, $1 mascara q, $2.50 Bayer q, 2 $3 sally hansen q's scaled to 1.98 each, and $2 cvs skincare q (this does give overage, yay!) for a total of $2.98 before ecbs. I spent a $3 ecb, and earned $4 on the mascara and $2 on the Bayer! $3 profit!

Another great Deal I did several times today to score some great prices on some "new" cereal (my kids and hubby were really tired of kashi, live active, and hboo.)
2 Airwick minis $9.98
2 GM cereals of your choice $4.29
1 single bar of cvs soap $0.79
Use the $3/$15
$4 airwick mini
$4 airwick mini
$2 cvs skincare q from reinventing b
$1/2 gm q, or 2 $.75 Total q or 2
$.55 Lucky charms q, or 2 $1 honey
nut cheerios q, or any combination
of these.
Your total before tax and ecbs will be between $.31 and $1.06 depending on what cereal qs use. No ecbs earned, but a wonderful way to get the cereal cheap - and even better if you like the airwicks!

I just printed a Colgate coupon and it says limit of one coupon per household so wouldn't using 2 be "not right"? Thanks for all the other tips!

*************
Money Saving Mom here: While some stores will allow you to use this coupon twice in one transaction, I'd advise people to use an All You coupon and an internet coupon just to make sure and follow the rules. Very few coupons actually state, "one per household" but when they do, I try to follow the rules to be on safe and ethical side.

i have a question regarding the ensure drinks. if i use 3.99 ecbs along with the 3 off printable, will the company send me a rebate with $0? is it better to pay cash (the 3.99) so i can get the rebate?

I hope it is ok to post this question, but what are people doing with the photo books. I am not familiar with them and just trying to think of practical use. One would be a lifebook for our son who is adopted, but do they allow text? Thanks

Here's the deal I did yesterday:
2 John Frieda products
2 Herbal Essence products
1 Neutrogena mascara
3 Sally Hansen nail polishes
1 Speed Stick

- $5/30 coupon
- (2) $4/20 coupons (I asked if I could use these all together, and the cashier said yes. ???)
- $1 John Frieda coupon
- $3 Herbal Essence coupon
- $1 Neutrogena coupon (tearpad)
- $3 Sally Hansen coupon (adj. to 2.98)
- $1 Speed Stick coupon

I used $10 ecb, paid .63 OOP, and earned $11 ecb! :-)

Going back today... 100 ct. Extra-Strength Excedrin is 10.29 each. I'll buy 2 ($20.58), use a 4/20, (2) $2 off Excedrin coupons, a 3/15 (if they'll let me - are you allowed to combine purchase-based q's like this? I feel weird doing it, even though the cashier yest. said it was fine), spend $9 in ecbs, and earn 10 ecbs back. :-)

I think I'll go for a photobook too...

I can't wait to get started on the great deals this week.

I don't think everyone got the same Kodak coupons - the only one I've gotten was one for an 8x10 Collage or Reprint - not for a photobook.
And a couple of people asked - I'm pretty sure you have to go to the store and use the Kodak kiosk to get the photobook - you can't do it online.

Susan -- SmartSource, RedPlum and Procter & Gamble(P&G) are the 3 types on inserts that come out in the Sunday paper (we usually get a RedPlum insert in our county's Friday paper as well). The name is usually at the top and if you look on the spine of the insert, in teeny, teeny, tiny lettering, it will say the date of the insert. Hope this helps! Happy CVS'ing : )

To the ladies who had questions about the beauty handbook. I don't think these coupons are available now. I simply went to the search block on moneysavingmom and typed in beauty handbook. The coupons did not appear on the screen anymore. On a previous post Crystal said to print them asap because they remove them quickly. Most people who are referring to them now probably had already printed them out.. Sorry. I didn't get them either as I was having all sorts of trouble with printing. I figured it out today and went there and alas-they are gone. Story of my life. Oh well, there's always another deal!

Crystal -

You wrote (in the current CVS photobook 'deal'...

"Use $3/1 Kodak Photo Book coupon from 06/08 SmartSource insert"

I looked all over your June archives and could NOT find this coupon link. Is it possible for you to update this post and link to the coupon from this insert? I'm still a newbie at all this stuff! Thanks so much!!!

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the $3/$15 has some sort of bug or spyware attached to it (I had to reformat my computer last night because of it). Please be careful.

I don't know what happened by my original question did not post. The B1G1 for the Colgate seems to be for Colgate Total only. The coupons in question all seem to be for the Colgate Total Advanced. As a result the cashier would not take my coupons and I didn't see where the Colgate Total Advanced was the one on sale. I know other people got this deal so I was wondering if I missed where Colgate Total Advanced was B1G1 as well, or did the cashiers at your stores just take it and hand key the coupons?
