Regional Store Deals: Kroger, Meijer, Rite Aid, ACME
Kroger (and elsewhere?): Buy $20 in Natural/Organic Foods, Get $10 B&N Gift Card - From JoAnna:
I spotted a neat deal at our local Kroger (VA) 2 days ago, and hopefully it is widespread: Some packages of Health Valley tarts/granola bars [natural/organic foods] have a little paper stuck on them with this offer: buy $10 or more of Health Valley; "Garden of Eatin"; WestSoy; MaraNatha; Earth's Best Sesame Street Tots, Kidz and Frozen; Kidz Dream; or Spectrum products, get a Free Barnes and Noble Gift Card! $10 worth of products will get a $5 gift card; $20 worth in purchases will get a $10 one. You send in the cash register receipts and the little entry form; up to 2 submissions per household.
The best part is that you can most likely use the B&N gift card (regular gift cards work this way, at least) to purchase used books through the B&N website, thus making your savings go even further!
Be sure to read the instructions on the form before purchasing your items because not all products qualify (for example, Health Valley qualifying products are cereals and snack bars only). And keep your eye out for any that might be on clearance--we found bars that were $1.75 vs. the regular $3.50 or so!
Meijer: Tilipia Deal Again - From Leah:
My Meijer has 16 oz Tilapia fillets on sale for buy 2, get 2 free this week. With 4 Meal Box coupons for $2/1, (1 per bag ), you can get 4 lbs of fish for $1 per pound!
ACME: Free Honey Bunches of Oats - From Kristine:
I found that Acme has the new Honey Bunches of Oats "Just Bunches" cereal on sale for $2 this week. I used the recent $2/1 printable coupon and got it free!
Rite Aid: Luvs Diaper Sale - From Kacie:
Just wanted to let you know that this week, Luvs mega packs are on sale at Rite Aid for $9.99 (regularly $14.99). Thanks to your blog, I saw that I could request a $5 off coupon from Luvs. That arrived in the mail a few days ago, so with coupon, I was able to get 86 size 1 diapers for $5! That's less than $0.06 per diaper, and I'm pretty sure that's a good deal.

How much are Luvs at Walmart or Target? I have one of those $5 coupons and I'm trying to find out if the $10 for a mega pack is a better deal than what Walmart or Target usually charge.

If you have a Hannaford LUVS are only 17.99 for 104 size threes. Walmart LUVS are 19.99 for 104 size threes. I think the mega packs are 14.99 at Wal-Mart.

i got 8 count boxes of tofutti cuties (dairy free ice cream sandwiches) at meijer for 50 cents this week. they normally run $3 there or $4.59 at county market! meijer had them on sale for 2/$4 and i used $1.50 coupons from coupons.com. this is a big find for those of us with food allergies.

Just wanted everyone to know that Meijer has changed the wording on their Mealbox coupons!!! It says "ONE COUPON PER TRANSACTION. NOT TO BE COMBINED WITH ANY OTHER DISCOUNT COUPONS".
Not trying to cause a "stir" but just in case you have trouble at the checkout with multiple Tilipia coupons you will know why.
