Staples: Teacher Appreciation Day

Header_01

Staples is having Teacher Appreciation Day soon for all teachers--including homeschooling moms! Go here to see when your Staples event is scheduled.

At the event, you'll get a beautiful tote bag filled to the brim with all sorts of goodies. There are also doorprizes and coupons!

Thanks, Lady Why!

As a homeschooling mom, how do you get Staples to recogize that you are a teacher? I have tried at my Staples to no avail! Supposedly you have to fill out a "teacher form" and list your certification number.

All you have to do to get a Teacher's Reward Card is to fill out the form located at customer service. Some people I know were asked for their "teacher id" and they just used a little card they printed from their computers. Our cover school actually issues us a "teacher id" but I wasn't asked for anything. There is a square on the Teacher's Reward Card form for "homeschool" so I checked it and that was that!

I hope that helps! It's worth the effort because the savings are wonderful!

If you are a homeschool teacher, most of the various stores in Georgia will allow you to show your "Letter of Intent to Homeschool" (which you have to send into your county school board) in order to get credit for the Teacher deals. You could always call your stores and ask.

I called Staples to make sure I could participate in the appreciation day(because I do homeschool) and it was confirmed that I could. But as stated already you do need a "teacher's reward card." They let me do my application over the phone. The gentleman gave me my reward card number to use until I receive my official card.

On their website they have a form to fill out. I homeschool and got one. It has an address for the school you work for, but I just put in my home addy since that is where my school is. I think that is all you need. I haven't used mine yet. All I did was fill out the form and I got a screen that had the card and it just said to print it out. I am not sure what I clicked on to get the form though. You might have to look for it if it isn't on the main page. I hope this helps.

Thank you all for your comments! I was able to find the link after much searching on the Staples web site, filled out the form, and now have a printed teacher rewards card. Thank you all for taking the time to comment and thank you, Crystal, for all the work you do on this site.
