What deals did you see this week? What are you buying this week?

*pst* hey... ladies... this isn't news that I'd put out on the front page, but I'll share it in a comment. I just bought a package of Vagistat-1 (On sale this week) at Walgreens and it printed a register coupon for a FREE Monistat 1 (Up to $21.99).
So, for stocking up on things you may not need now, that seemed like a pretty decent deal.

The regional things are interesting--like our ad has Colgate for 1.99, not BOGO. The deal still works!

I am so confused! When I tried to do this diaper deal last Saturday the manager told me that all Walgreens had received a memo that to use the $2/1 Rx cpn and the Easy Saver cpn at the same time was fraud. The manager was super, super nice about it, but I still felt bad. Is this a YMMV? Forgive me if this has already been addressed!

Hi Crystal, I have a few other good matches I put together @:

Also Nature Made RX also counts for $1 in the Caregivers program. So that would make it $2.00 overage. Just wondering where you can donate vitamins or other products like this?

My Walgreens would not let me use both diaper coupons. The one from the pharmacy says "not valid with any other offer."

Loreal Vive Pro is on sale BOGO free $4.99. There is a BOGO coupon in today's paper - so, I'm assuming you could get two free.

Also, L'Oreal Vive Pro is B1G1. Use with the B1G1 coupon for Vive Pro Hydra Gloss (which is pictured in the ad) from today's Smartsource (7/13) and they are both free!

I noticed that Walgreens has L'Oreal Vive Pro Shampoo or Conditioner for BOGO at $4.99. Today in the inserts there was a BOGO coupon for this same item. Can you use it and get 2 for free or does Walgreens not allow this? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Buy 2 and use one $5/1 coupon and one B1G1 coupon (from 07/13 insert)
What/Where is the $5/1 coupon???

My Walgreens trip today was $88.45 before coupons. Coupons totaling $33.45 brought my out of pocket amount to $48.40. This does not include rebates.
The big savings was Electrasol. It was on sale for $2.19 and I had a coupon for $2.25. Free is awesome!
I blogged about it on my blog if you'd like to see all the prices and a picture of everything.

Wags is also having a B1G1 sale on the L'oreal Vive Pro HydraGloss Shampoo and conditioner. There was a B1G1 coupon in one of the 7/13 inserts (can't remember which one) This means free shampoo and conditoner!

I did the diapers deals 2 weeks ago but when I went to do it again (at my VERY coupon friendly store) the manager told me (very nicely!) that they had received a memo from corporate and could not stack the coupons. Bummers!!

Our Walgreens no longer accepts coupons printed from the internet. The manager said that a memo came from the regional office saying that internet coupons are strictly prohibited. (There are still links from their website.) I e-mailed customer service twice asking if internet coupons are accepted. No response was given either time.

Where did you get the $5/1 coupon for the Schick Quattro deal? Thanks
Posted by: Nicki | July 14, 2008 at 08:15 AM
I can't find the L'oreal coupon in my Sundays paper.

You mention $1 Kotex coupons. Where are they?

I've finally figured out my Wal-green's deals for the week and I'm pretty excited. $38.70 worth of stuff for $7.13. I've got the breakdown in my blog http://frugalcooker.blogspot.com/2008/07/walgreens-scenario-week-of-713.html Thanks for all the tips! Jennifer

Your site is a huge help to me every week when I plan my trips! Thanks so much!
You can see what I got this week on my site.

My Walgreens wouldn't let me use the B1G1 coupon on the Loreal Viva Pro. They said they do not accept b1G1 coupons on a B1G1 sale. Any one know if this is their policy?

Money Saving Mom here: It varies from store-to-store (and sometimes cashier to cashier!). Most stores will allow you to use the coupons and it is a legal and ethical use of coupons, but some stores don't understand that they will be reimbursed for the full amount plus some or they just don't understand how coupons work or they just aren't coupon-friendly.

I went to Walgreens to get the diaper deal. I was not able to stack the 2 coupons, but the $5/2 coupon did apply a $7.50 discount since I had bought 3 packs. So I got $2.50 off of the third bag instead of the $2.00 off coupon, but not both. What I didn't get though, is the $5 in register rewards. I even asked the manager politely as Crystal commented on above.
It's way too long of a story to post, but if you want to hear it, check out http://www.reviewkc.com/2008/07/walgreens-no-deal-false-advertising/

I tried to do the Walgreens diaper deal last night...but upon receiving the coupon from the prescription savings booklet, I also saw it said "cannot be combined with any other offer" and also said "limit 1."
However, I ended up purchasing 2 Mega premium packs of Cotton Stretch diapers (on sale for $8.49, 46 count), and a box of Cotton Stretch wipes (on sale for $7.39, 400 count) was able to use the $5/2 coupoun and it gave me the $5 in register rewards. In short, I saved $10 off the sale price...and in the long run I think I got more diapers, and a higher quality diaper (which counts if you are a bit of a diaper snob and planning to go camping next week)!
