Walgreens: Free Bic Highlighters and an update on the Dixie deal

0760170101
Bic Highlighters 5-pack are on sale for $0.39 at Walgreens this week with the in-ad coupon. Use this $1/2 Bic coupon to get them for free. (Use the manufacturer's coupon first then the Walgreens coupon in order for it to ring through correctly.)

Thank you, Brooke!

Also, although the Dixie plate deal was advertised (on the catalinas) to be working through July 25, 2008, as of this morning, the $3/2 coupon is confirmed to NOT be printing. My apologies to those of you who tried this deal and didn't get a coupon.

Where do you get the information about catalinas? Just curious!

I went to Walgreen today and got a bunch of things for school. The sales this week were fantastic!! The only problem I had was the lady behind me only had one thing and she was very huffy. Finally she swore and went to another cash register. The chasier was very apologetic and said that that lady has a reputation of being like that whenever she goes there. I told him it was fine, that I was a paying customer too. ;0]

I was able to get two Reynolds wrap (20sq ft each) for .40!! They are on sale for .99 each and I had a 1.50 off q.

The Dixie deal didn't work, but still a good deal.

Crystal,
Our Walgreens have posted signs saying "Under no circumstance will we accept internet coupons." Has anyone else experienced this?

Yep, I tried to do the Dixie plate deal. No Cat. Oh, well. I got $85 worth of stuff for $6. I'm not complaining. Great school supply deals, especially if you use the diaper RR on them!

This was my very first Walgreens coupon outing and I think I did pretty good. I got $34.20 worth of items I will use in the upcoming school year for only $11.11!

I'm almost relieved that the catalina deal is over for the Dixie products. When it started several weeks ago, I got as many as I could, but was left with one Catalina left over. Last week, the local Walgreen's put the plates on clearance, so I used my leftover catalina, and was thrilled when a new one printed. It was late in the evening, and no one else was in the store, so the clerk said, "Why don't you go get the rest from the shelf, and we'll put them through a pair at a time." Of course, I was left with another Catalina at the end, which I used this morning. All told, I have 20 packs (about 560) of bowls and plates to put in the teachers' breakroom when school starts (paper products are a requested item).

Our Walgreens also had Traning Pants listed in the flyer that were elegible for RR's. However, when I checked out...this did not work. I brought the flyer to the manager's attention and they honored it. Just be aware if you buy training pants instead of diapers...you may have to ask for the RR.

I bought the $0.99 dividers that were advertised this week and they rang up for $0.24!!!!

I got about $18 worth of stuff at Walgreens this morning for $3.47! And half of that was stuff I didn't even have coupons for! I posted details at my blog - http://carrots12tn.wordpress.com.

Our Walgreens was out of some of the coupon school supplies (like the 39 cent BIC highlighters) - but they gave me a raincheck and attached the coupon and said it was good forever to take to any Walgreens. So you might want to try that when Walgreens is out of sale items.
