McDonald's: Free chicken biscuit or sandwich with drink purchase

Personally I'm not a big fan of these, but if you like the Southern-style Chicken Sandwich or Biscuit from McDonald's, you can get them free with any medium drink purchase by using this coupon here.
You can usually get a medium or large drink for $1 so this would make for a cheap breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Though I'm not sure I'd say the sandwich is worth that, but you might disagree. :)
Good through September 1, 2008. Coupon must be printed from a color printer.
Thanks, Tasha!

Make sure you take note of the small print, must be printed in color

I can't stand these myself. I'm a southerner by birth and raising, but butter on the bun with fried chicken and pickles? I just don't get it.
But my boys will eat anything, so this will be something cheap to grab for them on the run to an activity.

Yummy, I actually like these (without the pickles)!

Thank you for the coupon posting! This is great timing as my parents are in town and tend to eat at fast-food places when they are out shopping in the area. My Dad was excited about the Boston Market coupon you posted earlier. I'm teaching them a little about coupons! :) Have a great weekend and we'll all miss you!!

This is a good deal, but....the sandwiches aren't that good. It's a complete knock-off of Chik-fil-A's deliiiiicious chicken sandwiches.

The last time McDonald's ran the chicken deal, Chik-fil-A bought space on those temporary billboards around town, saying something like "Bring us your half-eaten sandwich from that other place, and we'll give you a good one for free." I wonder if they'll do that again??
**Although, fellow nut allergic people, stay away. They use peanut oil at Chik-fil-A. I don't know which was worse when I got my allergy testing done: no more Reese's or no more Chik-fil-A!!

I do like the breakfast one, but my coupon didn't print out right. All it printed was my first name at the top of the paper. :(

Thanks for the note. We tried it this morning and it worked. We had the free biscuit. Not good. BUT it's free! (we're getting the tea anyways)

Mmmm, I just got mine for lunch today and the sandwich wasn't half bad...but then again, we don't have a Chick-fil-A in our town!
Just FYI, there are 2 coupons for this exact deal in tomorrow's newspaper as well. Check out the Parade insert. Enjoy!

We tried to use the coupon which we printed in color in Guymon oklahoma and they said we had to buy a full price drink. They had large on sale. The coupon says ANY med or large drink but they wouldnt back down. I wrote to headquarters about it. We also went to Taco Tico instead for lunch. This made me mad. ANY means any doesnt it?

I tried to print the coupon and checked the box asking to know about future promotions. A notice kept coming bck that I hadn't put my zip code- which I did. so I unclicked the box to know about future promotions. Then I clicked send and it said I was too YOUNG to print the coupon! Well that was almost better than getting the coupon as I am almost 50!!!
Your site looks awesome! Thanks for all the work you do and thanks to your family who allows you the time to do it.

I had problems too - first i got the 'too young' message, even though i'm 36 - then i tried to use it today for a biscuit and was told that i had made a copy of the real coupon and they couldn't take it. i sweetly informed the manager that i had printed the coupon from mcdonald's website not copied a coupon. he said it had to be printed front and back and i, again sweetly, explained that you can't do that with an online coupon. finally he gave in and said he'd take it THIS time - like i was crazy. anyway - another mcdonald's wouldn't take it because they do have the chicken sandwich or biscuit - weird, huh? :) anyway - thanks for sharing. i paid $1.09 this morning for a large drink and biscuit! :)

The sandwich is 'just OK' (isn't *anything* good when you're running errands and have a free coupon???) BUT...here's my thing against the McD's advertising of the sandwich--they have advertised something to the effect of "great chicken--even on Sundays" which is a direct smack-down of CFA's long-standing "closed on Sundays" policy.
McD's is OK...they're everywhere, kids love it...but don't touch my religion over a stupid chicken sandwich, KWIM?
