Walgreens: Band-Aid money-maker
Pam sent in the following scenario to get Band-Aids for free plus overage at Walgreens this week. If you have the coupons, it's a great deal!
Buy 2 Band-Aids at $2.99 each
Use 2 $1/1 coupon from recent insert
Use $1/1 Walgreens coupon from the coloring book (This coupon took $1 off each box of Band-Aids.)
Total: $1.98 out-of-pocket
Get $3 Register Rewards back!
$1.02 money-maker after Register Rewards!

I just wanted to comment and say "thank you" for all the great tips and stuff on your site! I've read as much as I can on here, and I've even started my own money-saving blog! :)
Anyways, thank you, I have subscribed to you on my Google Reader, so I read all your updates, I just don't always comment! :)

Does Walgreens take BOGO coupons when things are already BOGO in the store? Oxy is on sale BOGO and there is a coupon on Oxy's website for BOGO. If Walgreens will take it then it means it is free. If I don't hear back by tomorrow then I may go by and try it.

My Walgreen's won't take BYGO coupons when things are on sale BYGO. They used to, but now they say they have to "check" the coupons! Bummer. Good luck with your store!

My WAGS will take coupons on BOGO items, but your store may vary. I unfortunately only got .50 coupons on the band aids, still a good deal though. After RR .02 moneymaker.
