I'm not too excited about this week, which is fine because I will have a short shopping week -- the hubs and I are going to have a romantic weekend getaway! OK, the getaway is in Milwaukee, but still, operative word here is away. From children.

:-)

I'm not figuring the CoverGirl deal like you... wouldn't it still cost $1.98 after ECB's anc Q's?? I'm a little confused. I wouldn't mind grabbing up this deal if it was free. Can you help me understand this one? :)

This has nothing to do with deals, but Crystal, I DO hope you start feeling better. Even just a little better will do at this point, huh? Oh, have I ever been there!! It is truly so daunting to think "I have to be sick for HOW long?!" Like you said, it is all SO worth it in the end, but the present is very difficult, especially with littles that don' understand... I'm off to my devotion time. You are in my prayers this morning...

Not sure if you would consider this a good deal, but if you buy 10 jars of the skippy peanut butter and deduct the $3.00 ECB's you end up paying about $1.17 a jar. Not bad for peanut butter.

Hi there,
Oh my goodness!!!!!!!! I am so glad that I have found your blog. As a mom of twins, I am always looking for deals. Thanks so much for sharing. This is great!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to figure out how the CoverGirl deal works. Maybe I am missing something:

Lip product: $3.99 x 2 = $7.98
Eye Shadow: $2.99
Total: $10.97

B1G1 Q: -$3.99
(2) $1 Q: -$2.00
ECBs: -$3.00
Total: $1.98

Right?

I totally understand the morning sickness thing. But I still miss you when you're gone! I've become totally dependent on you for my CVSing needs!

In our circular and store you can get Excedrin Extra Strength or Tension Headache for 3.99 and then get $4 in ECBs making it free! They were already sold out last night when I went!
Also, there was a new Purex coupon in the circulars yesterday. Only 35 cents, but might help someone out who didn't have the other one.
The children's Tylenol and Motrin deal and the Pantene family size shampoos/conditioner were good deals - on sale, coupons, and ECBs from both!

You can always use the $2/10 cvs coupon for the covergirl deal to get it to be free.

Dona: You don't have to even buy 10 jars, only $10 worth, which at the price of 3/$5 would be 6 jars. There are (2) $1/2 coupons that just came out.

$10-$2Q-$3ECB= $5/6 jars = 88 cents per jar!

Arnicare in my store was $9.49...still a moneymaker though! THANKS!

My CVS didn't seem to have the Arnicare. I went to the pharmacist, because I've seen posts from people who've found it behind the pharmacy counter. The pharmacist never heard of it. He went and got the store manager, who'd also never heard of it. We all searched for it and didn't find it. It isn't actually advertised in the store circular, so I couldn't show anyone what I was talking about. Did anyone else have this problem?

The pharmacy employess couldn't find it and never heard of it but I looked for 10 minutes myself and found 1 box on the bottom with the ben-gay type products. The packaging is very non-descript and doesn't stand out very well.

My store manager did not know what it was but he did find it around the joint supplement area on the bottom shelf. It is in the September book.

For the CVS Excedrin deal (buy it for $3.99 and get $3.99 ECB back), I scanned my CVS card at the red price check scanner and it printed out a $1.00 off coupon for the exact Excedrin product. Using this coupon makes this a $1.00 money-maker!

That $2 off coupon for Arnicare is for gel AND cream

Crystal I love this site, still struggling with how CVS works but getting better (I think) each week.

No Purex coupon in my inserts - in Springfield Missouri. Was very disappointed with inserts this week. Only one in my Red Plum and just a couple others in SS. Nothing to get excited about. Sure would like to have received the Purex - family of 7 and we can never have enough laundry detergent.

I tried to get the Aleve-D for 3.99 with the $3 back in ECB. I printed out the coupon on the aleve website $1/1. Says "any Aleve Cold product" and it's the coupon that printed out when I clicked on "Aleve-D" on the website. But, when I went to my CVS, the register would not accept the coupon. Has anyone else had this problem?? The register said that I had not purchased that item.

About the arnicare I am in real need of this for my arthritis that just decided to creep up on my knee this week after it being in remission since I was 12 yrs. old, now 29 yrs.
My question is with the limit being 5 can I print 5 of those coupons and use at one time? Just want to check on this. I am crossing my fingers that my CVS has it, and that it brings some relief to me.

Thanks!

Hey! Did you know there's a hidden deal on candy bars, making for a great filler? The giant Hershey's bars that are usually $1.79 and on sale for $.99 are buy two, get $1 ECB! So basically you get each giant bar for $.50. You don't have to get plain Hershey's, either. You can also get Mr. Goodbar or Symphony. They're a great $2 (-$1 ECB) filler!

First time post'er...I love your site, found it about a week ago. I have been a coupon-aholic for several years, and recently started the CVS game. Today, I bought Excedrin, Aleve-D, Lipton, Ragu, St. Ives, Colgate. OOP 12.27, ECB 15.98. Could have done better, but they were out of Skippy.
Had CVS $4 off $20, plus ECB of $6 prior, plus numerous Q's.

Is it ok if we do the manufacturer's coupon AND the full price rebate on the just for men? It sounds too good to be true, but if it's ok, I am all for it. Does anyone know if the coupon and rebate come from the same place (the manufacturer?) Do the rebate people care if we used a coupon to get the item? Thanks for any info on this.
