Target: Kashi frozen waffles for $0.33/box or less

Kashiwaffle

FrogFan left a comment on the Target Kashi deal post with another great deal idea. I liked it so much, I felt it was worthy of its own separate post!

Kashi frozen waffles are on sale at many stores for $1.58 per box. If you buy four boxes, you'll only pay $1.32 after the $5 gift card you'll earn for buying four boxes. That's $0.33/box--without even using any coupons!

If you use even one $2/1 coupon here, you'll get the boxes free plus some overage after the gift card!

Needless to say, my husband is making a Target run tonight--we could so use these waffles for quick snacks for the girls right now!

Remember that if for some reason the cashier is not automatically prompted to give you a $5 gift card back, you just need to ask for it and they should take care of you without a problem!

quick note....the ad does specify that the purchase amount mus be equal to or greater than the gift card amount....so take that into account if using coupons with this deal, so that you don't void your eligibility for the gift card!

Ad says you have to spend amount equal to gift card to recieve the gift card. So I don't think you would want to use 2.00 off for the waffles, because you would be paying less than 5.00 thus declining the gift card.

Money Saving Mom here: From what I've heard, the ad always states this and there's never a problem. However, let us know if anyone runs into this.

My store ad says to buy cereal, bars, cookies, crackers and frozen meals...waffles aren't any of these..so i don't know if this would work..but worth a shot.

I would interpret the wording in the ad to mean that you have to buy at least $5 of Kashi products. Coupons are a bonus afterwards?

I would really like to get the $2 /1 Kashi coupon.
I registered yesterday at the website with an error. Later when I went back to try again, my account was valid despite the previous error. But nowhere was there a coupon offer. Can someone help? Is this a printable coupon on their website, or something they email/mail to you?
Am I the only one who can't seem to find it?

They don't sell Kashi waffles at my Target.

Jessica,

You are not alone! I had the same problem with the Kashi site. The coupon is not available there for some reason. Maybe they have been swamped by money saving moms!

Has someone actually verified that this deal is working, the items are suppose to be 4/$11. Last week with the Kelloggs deal I purchase the Special K Bliss bars, these rang up a different price and they did not produce the giftcard.

I am a Kashi member and logged in, but can't find the coupon either. Is that something you can just get the first time you register?

I am wondering the same thing as Rebecca. I followed the link to get the $2 coupon, I registered at the Kashi site, and now I can't find where the coupon is. Can someone help?

Oh, I so hope my regular Target has these waffles! I don't have a Super Target near me, but I know my Target has a big frozen section. I'm difinitely making my needed returns this week so I can check it out!
Thanks for posting this!

Re: where is the coupon...

Yes, you get that coupon when you register the first time. It's not available except for first time registrations.

Oh, how I wish I had known to check for waffles when I went yesterday. As it is, I bought two crackers, two granola bars, used three $2/1 coupons, and got the gift card, making it all free.

I would definitely try using four coupons if you have them, though, and here's why: The cashier followed the prompt and gave me the gift card before she even scanned my coupons.

My Super had the gift card signs under the waffles, and I did receive a gift card for the group in which the waffles were included....

you should also be able to use coupons, since the 4 packs of waffles total 6.32, above the $5 minimum....the $5 minimum is there to prevent you from buying the individual bars, etc for under $4 total and making money without using coupons...

Yes it works- I got the Go lean Crunch on Sunday with my Vocalpoint q's. I spent $6 exactly and got $5. I am going to call my Target to see if they have these waffles because it is a great breakfast for DD... The $2/1 can only be printed the first time you register w/ Kashi.

I just got back from target and they did not sell the waffles at my target store so here is what I did:

Bought 2 boxes of the go lean crunch cereal and 2 boxes of the cereal bars for a total of $11 and then I used (2) $2/1 kashi food product and then (2) $1/1 go lean crunch for a total of $6.00 in coupons. My total was $5.30 so I paid with my $5 giftcard from the previous poptart deal and 30 cents OOP, and of course got back another $5 giftcard to use on the next great deal! Can't beat it with a stick!!!

Our target has the waffles with the Vegetarian foods.
I got 4 boxes of waffles - no prompt for gc
also got 3 boxes and 1 box of granola bars- no prompt for gift card

the ad says frozen meals but the sign in front of the granola bars says frozen Foods
Manager gave me a 10 card for both transactions.
Good Luck I have had a few issues with Target on coupons/deals but CS always takes care of it right away.

The waffles definitely worked. I purchased 8 boxes of waffles, and after 4 it prompted the cashier to issue a gift card. I used one of my two $2 Kashi coupons, and the total was 10.96 after tax. I rolled my two $5 GCs from last week's poptart deal, with an OOP of $0.96. I'll be heading back later in the week for some crackers and bars!

I went tonight and purchased 4 boxes of cereal minus $6 in coupons, so paid $5.00 and got a $5.00 GC. I went back in and bought 4 packs of waffles for right around $6.50 and paid with the $5 GC, so they cost about $1.50 and generated a 2nd $5 GC, which I used to splurge on a large Pumpkin Spice latte from the Target Starbucks to share with my hubby. So the total was around $7.50 for 4 boxes of Kashi cereal, 4 boxes of waffles and a venti Pumpkin Spice Latte....great deal!

This is not a direct reference for the Kashi products; however, I was wondering if it is Target's policy to not take printable coupons anymore? My SuperTarget will no longer take mine, and I live in NC. Could someone possibly help me out with this? Thanks! I love this website, by the way!

Is there any problem with registering at Kashi under our kids' names? Or our DHs' names? Or will it kick it out anyhow because I'm using the same computer as when I registered myself?

I just registered and there is no coupon for $2.00 off. Only the same Vive cereal coupon. Bummer. I agree with the others that the Kashi website is difficult with error messages etc.

FYI-- if you go to the Kashi web site they will tell you what stores in your area carry the products. There is only 1 Target out of 6 in my area listed :)

No longer am I confused or disgruntled!! I figured it out. Because the Kashi webiste apparently botched a bunch of first time registrations yesterday, we didn't get immediate access to the first timer's coupons. I re-registered with a different email address and it automatically brought up the link to click for the coupons. I printed mine and am on my way to Target!

I just went to Target after registering a few of my email addresses with Kashi. I went in with 4 $2/1 coupons. I was able to print 2 coupons from one account one time. Other times I pushed print and got nothing. It was kind of unpredictable.
Anyway, waffles were $1.58 each. I got 4. Then presented them with all four of my $2/1 coupons. After three coupons my total OOP price was .32 cents so the computer wouldn't let the cashier enter another coupon to give a zero balance.
After my four waffles had been scanned she automatically gave me a $5 gift card.
So, I got my four boxes of waffles for .32 cents. Plus $5 to spend next time.
Thanks for the tip!

I got cereal, chewy bars, and two boxes of oatmeal. She gave me the gift card before coupons, so I guess it doesn't matter if the total is less than $5? Or she just didn't care/know. Then after coupons went through I only had to pay $2.58. So I made a few dollars! More at my blog = http://bargainsfreebies.blogspot.com/

OK, I am so frustrated. I went to target yesterday and tried to buy 3 boxes of cereal and 1 box of granola bars. I had 2 $2/1 and 2 $1/1 Go lean Crunch. The cashier first told me they didn't except printed coupons then went to check w/ customer service, when she came back she said she was wrong, but then said I could only use 1 coupon per transaction. She got the store manager and he verified, I was so irritated, I even had 3 different cereals so none of the products were the same. Anyone else have a hard time??

My target made me spend $11 on Kashi products to get the rebate. I had to buy 5 waffles to get over the $11 mark.

Thanks! This worked really well for me. I went to my Target and bought two packages of waffles and two boxes of granola bars for $1.25.

I've done this twice with a variety of cereals, etc. The first time my total was over $6 and the second time it was $3. Both times I was told that they take internet coupons ONLY if they can scan. My printed messed up my coupons, but fortunately they still scanned. However, my Target printable Luvs coupons would not scan so I could not do that deal!! I was so upset, because these are Target's own coupons!! And they still wouldn't take them!!. Grr.

How long is this offer good for?? Darn.. I hope it's not over by tomorrow since it's Sunday..
