Hi Crystal,
What is or where is the Reinventing Beauty booklet? The cashier at my CVS didn't know what I was talking about. Thanks!

I'm excited about this week! I think I'm going to try to convince my husband to stop at CVS on the way to church! :)

I think the BB Colgate q's are MQ's, so I don't think they'll work if combined with another MQ.

Money Saving Mom here: Thanks for catching that mistake, Sarah! I've corrected the post.

sorry, I posted this comment and my savings in the wrong section. I moved it down to the weekly savings section. I didn't realize that this was the CVS section. Whoops. My apologies.

Check your cvs crts- I had one for $5/2 maalox, and another one for $3/48ct or more benefiber- makes for a sweet deal when combined w/ manufacture coups and the $10 ecbs when you buy $20 worth.
Meters- make sure you get the pkg w/ the test strips, there were 2 diff pkgs at my cvs, one had test trips and one had none included.

I have a question. I was wondering where you are finding the "Spend $20 on Select Medicines & Personal Care Items, Get $10 (Limit 1)" I'm not finding it in either my flyer or the Extra Value Book. I may just be blind! Thanks!

I'm so lame, I just found it, like right after I asked it! Sorry about that! Thanks.

Is anyone else having trouble with the link for the Bic Soleil coupon? It just keeps asking me to install the coupon printer on my computer, and I have already installed that awhile ago and used it many times. I also tried the link on my husband's computer and it just does the same thing. Ggrrr!
Posted by: Chris | October 06, 2008 at 08:37 AM
I'm also having trouble with the link for the Bic Soleil coupon. The coupon printer page keeps telling me to install it and also the page automatically refreshes every 5 seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

go to the bic soleil website for the coupon

When I attempted to print the coupon for bic, it indicated that the special is now over. Thanks.

When I tried the Soleil IP coupon this morning, it said that the deal is over. I guess I should have printed it this weekend, rats!

I had recently been falling out of love with CVS, since the deals weren't that great, and the one CVS in our area was constantly out of stock on the deals they were offering. My stash of ECBs had dwindled down to almost nothing. But they won back my heart this week by opening a brand new store even closer to my home, and they sent out a $10/20 coup (wow!) and coups for free Pepsi, a free CVS beauty product up to $3, and 25 free prints. AND EVERYTHING WAS IN STOCK!! I walked out today with only $2.50 out of my pocket, a bag full of great products, $15 ECBs, and a warm, fuzzy feeling for CVS. Thanks, CVS, and thanks, Money Saving Mom, for posting the deals!

I usually see the Reinventing Beauty magazine up by the checkout counter, with other magazines and all the small items up at the counter, above the candy. They don't always have it. The last one I saw had American Ferrera (Ugly Betty star) on it.

Yay! Thank you SO MUCH for fixing the Bic Soleil link MSM! You are the best!

Has anyone else experienced problems with CVS now doing either/or with coupons and ECBs? I haven't been in a few weeks, but I have had several friends tell me that their CVS is no longer letting them use coupons AND get ECBs on a item. If you use a coupon, the ECBs will not print out. If you want the ECBs, you can't use a coupon on the item. Walgreens is apparently doing the same thing with their program now. I had a friend call the Walgreens corporate office and was told this by one of the VPs. They also indicated that they might be scrapping their whole program. The "reasoning" for the change was because the "register rewards" (or ECBs in CVS's case) were actually "manufacturer's coupons."
These seems shady to me, since "manufacturer's coupon" is not printed on them and you can use it on ANYTHING. Anyone else experienced this?

When I checked out at CVS last night, a $2 coupon printed off for a Lady Speed Stick deodorant. It was good for the ones that were on sale for $1.99/$1 ECB. So I used the coupon and got the deodorant for free plus the $1 ECB! Sweet!

I tried the Ayr Saline Nasal Spray ($3.99)..it is over 1 oz. and does not work for the ECB deal ($3ecb). No ecbs were given. FYI. I tried:) The Oct. book states .75 oz.
