I don't normally like Walmart but when I see free I will go! lol Thanks for the breakdown!
Posted by: Holly | October 06, 2008 at 03:13 PM
Yes, it's nice to fall back on Walmart. Is it just me or is there a scarcity of food deals at the grocery stores? I only circled 5 or 6 items each in the Food City and Kroger circulars. And I'm still waiting on the K Mart double coupon deal. Fortunately, I have done some stocking up. Thanks for the scoop on Walmart!

Febreze air freshener kits are $5.97. There was a $5 off in my P&G insert two weeks ago. That's $0.97 after coupon!

I cannot find the Betty Crocker Potato Pouches $0.40/1 coupon anywhere in the 9/14 SS. I found a $0.35/1 in the 10/05 "General Mills Everyday Saver." I'm new to couponing so could I just be missing it or could it be that the inserts are different in each region?
Also I found the Ronzoni Smart Taste $1/1 coupon in the 10/05 SS. And I couldn't find the Cascadian Farms $1/1 coupon in the 10/05 SS, but I did find it in the "General Mills Everyday Saver"
As a newbie I'm just wondering if the inserts are slightly different in different parts of the country? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Hi Kim. Yes, the inserts are different. And the prices at Walmart also vary so its a good idea to check the price first.

Thank you so much Honey! I thought maybe I was off my rocker :) I will be sure to double check prices when I go. Thanks for your help!

Today I found the Gillette 2-in-1 shampoo/bodywashes for $2. Used my $2 Gillette shampoo coupons to get them FREE!
Posted by: Kate | October 06, 2008 at 04:41 PM
There are Gillette Fusion gift packs for $5- includes razor, full size deodorant, almost full size 2in1 wash, shave gel- use 4/1 from P&G and a great stocking stuffer for $1! Also used 2/1 kashi q to get free waffles (1.87)

Just a question. Where in the store do you find the Wellpatch singles? Thanks in advance. :)
Posted by: Stephanie | October 06, 2008 at 06:58 PM
My wal-mart doesn't seem to accept coupons if it is for more than the price of the item. Has anyone else ran into this? If I have a nice cashier, she'll manually enter the coupon, but usually they just say they can't accept a coupon that's for more than the price of the item. Anyone else?
Posted by: Alisha | October 06, 2008 at 07:25 PM
In my store the Wellpatch singles are located in front of the pharmacy across from the pain relievers. Other items around this particular product are...Bengay...Icy Hot...etc. There are the bigger boxes of the Wellpatch but hopefully you store carries the singles which are in an open stock box...the packages are silver and about 3X3 or 4X4 in size! Hope this helps! TIP! The Wellpatch boxes for the Arthritis version (green on box) has $1/1 peelies on them...get MORE free singles!

We are seeing higher prices here in Metro Atlanta.
Posted by: Kim | October 07, 2008 at 05:08 AM
Our prices were a bit higher on some products but still great deals. On the same website that had the Pete`s Hotsauce Coupon, there was a Cattlemans BBQ sauce coupon, 75 cent off. Our Walmart carried bottles with a little "Try me free" sleeve on it (for mail in rebate), which makes it a moneymaker after the coupon.

I don't usually go to Wal-Mart, but after seeing these deals and printing off some coupons, I headed over there.
Unfortunately, I didn't find such great deals at my Wal-mart in Central Illinois.
Betty Crocker Cookie Pouch - was $1.58 at my Wal-Mart - so I passed (I printed the .75 coupon)
They didn't carry any Cascadian Farms vegetables (which is why I really went!) or Muir Glen products at all. I'll try to use those coupons at Krogers instead. I did find Cascadian Farm granola bars (which we like the best and are certified organic) for $2.72 (regular price) so I used the $1 coupon to get those for $1.72 (cheap for organic granola bars).
They DID have the Chex Mix granola bars for $1.98 this week, but the $1 coupon wouldn't print for me, so I didn't have it to use.
Also, the Clean & Clear Blackhead Erasers are $5.44 but only for the REFILL, the actual product is $17, so if you already have it it's a good deal - but I passed on that too.
I did find the Green Giant Steamers for $1.78 with sauce or $1.28 without sauce - I got Broccoli & Cheese and with my printed coupon, only cost $.78.
So I got a few deals - but not enough for me to keep going back to Wal-Mart for my groceries, I still like Cub Foods or Kroger the best.

I was just wondering if anyone was having an issue printing the Barilla Piccoli coupon and the Toaster Streudel coupon? When I go to print, it says I need to download the coupon printer (which I already have and used to print the others). I tried downloading it anyway...which it does, but then when I go to print it still says I need to download it???
Thanks so much, Crystal, for all you do for us!!! :0)

I finally broke down and printed off some of the coupons mentioned in this list. I was very excited as I shopped around Walmart knowing that I was getting some great deals, only to find great disappointment when I got to the register. The Richmond, VA Walmarts are not currently accepting printable coupons because of fradulent coupon use. So, I was disappointed, but had them re-ring just the items that I had non-printable coupons for. Has anyone else run into this or is it just a regional problem?
Posted by: Charity | October 07, 2008 at 07:04 PM
I too, had them tell me in Weslaco, TX that they didn't accept internet coupons. But after several converstaions and phone calls I was told by a manager that they did under certain requirments (their coupon policy, that we all know!) and when I went again, they tried to show me an email from the main office that said MY coupons were fake...again, after some comparing they realized that the ones I had were REAL! =) And took them. I havn't tried in a few weeks since there were not any good coupons, but keep trying. =)
Posted by: Renee | October 08, 2008 at 09:28 AM
Charity, my Wal-Mart no longer accepts any internet coupons either. :(
Jerri, I've had the same problem with some of the coupons. I have downloaded the coupon printer at least 5 times. I've deleted it off of my computer and downloaded it again. It still won't work for me, though. I have no idea what is wrong.

Our Walmart won't take the internet printed coupons either! It was very frustating!
Posted by: Mummy | October 09, 2008 at 02:03 AM
I too had trouble with several of the coupons not printing. The Bertolli link may be incomplete because I got a message saying improper parameters...whatever that means! :)
And a few of the others just wouldn't print...just said, "please wait..." but nothing ever happened.
Thanks so much for putting this together for us, Crystal!! It's been such a great help to my family and me!

Ever been thoroughly embarrassed in a store. Well that just happened to me when I went to Walmart. The rather dim person behind the counter did not understand what a coupon was and then would not take printable coupons. That was when I asked to have the order cancelled and my coupons back. The cashier actually tried to make me pay without the coupons. Figures it wasn't my regular Walmart!

I could not get the Purina coupon to print. Called the co. They said it's no longer available, but she is sending me a coupon for free samll bag as well as some $2 coupons. My friends, coupon chivalry is not dead! And its a nice reminder that customer service really does exist.

I am SO ticked! I went to walmart today to take advantage of all the deals, i had all my coupons, spent an hour or so looking for all the items, got to the register and the gen manager decided they don't accept internet coupons any longer, even manuf coupons printed off. so a waste of my time, and now i lost my deals :(
