Man, did I score some awesome items at Kmart today. I wasn't able to get many of the deals that I've seen listed on various websites and blogs but it didn't matter after I hit that clearance aisle.

They limit on the Glade scented oil candle holder is actually 4.
Posted by: Shannon | October 04, 2008 at 07:59 PM
I wondered about that. I got the Pert that was the "extra" on the online rebate form, but it didn't show up on my list of what I received a credit for so I took it back yesterday. Guess I'll know more when the actual card comes, but I think I'll avoid those extras this month just to be sure.
Thanks for the list. You sure save me a lot of work!

When I purchased the Lypsyl Honey Berry this week it rang up at $2.99 (for one). Since the rebate didn't show up on my rebate page, I went ahead and returned it today. Just a heads up to watch those receipts carefully and make sure everything is ringing up correctly!
Posted by: Courtney | October 04, 2008 at 09:11 PM
I can confirm the Lypsyl - I submitted a receipt earlier this week and the Lypsyl was included in my Oct. earnings.

Hi there, I went shopping tonight and my $3 RR didn't print and I wanted to know if anyone else is printing. I bought 1 and used the $5 off coupon. I have another coupon and I am thinking I want to go back and use the B1G1 with the $5 but I am wondering if the RR is going to print? thanks

Money Saving Mom here: If your Walgreens doesn't change their deals over until Sunday morning, that could be why. Or the RR machine could be being fussy. Or who knows what...
If you don't get the RR, I just ask them (kindly) to either re-ring the transaction, void the transaction, or give me the amount on a gift card. If you're polite and firm, it usually works.
I wish the RR machines weren't so fickle, though.

If you go to Visine's web site there is also a printable $2/1 coupon on any Visine product 1/2 oz. or larger.
Posted by: Laureen | October 05, 2008 at 02:11 AM
Regarding the Wisp deal - are you sure 2 RRs will print when you do the BOGO? It's usually limited to one RR per transaction. Thanks!
*******************
Money Saving Mom here: Yes, you'll only get one RR. However, you'll get two and $2 overage after the coupons and RR. You could just use one coupon and get one, but you might as well get the free one, too. :)

I am amazed by the number of free things that can be had at Walgreens this week. Wow!
Posted by: Mercedes | October 05, 2008 at 05:28 AM
If the extra FAR deals, (Nivea and Lypsyl) are not showing up on the tally sheet online, then how does anyone submit them as FAR items? Just wondering if anyone knows how to handle that.
Posted by: S | October 05, 2008 at 06:17 AM
It looked like the regular price for LypSyl was $2.99 at my Walgreens. So to get this free, hopefully it will go on sale.
Posted by: Richelle F | October 05, 2008 at 06:29 AM
Just wanted to mention that the $1.00 P&G Crest coupon does not apply to the Crest that is on sale for $1.99. I'm sure it will scan, but I'm not all about using coupons that aren't for the specific product. :-)
*****************
Money Saving Mom here: Thanks for catching that! I'll fix that in the post.

I love the fact that you're doing this. It certainly helps everyone save money. Thank you so much.

Anyone else find that walgreens charges less for sunday doubles than other stores?! The price at every other store is $2.50/1 double paper....Walgreens, charged $1.88/1double today, and $2/1double paper last week. I used to buy all my papers from cvs- but now use RR to buy them at walgreens!!
Posted by: Sally | October 05, 2008 at 10:43 AM
I tried the crest deal at Walgreens, but the register beeped and I was told only one cupon per item.
Posted by: K.M. | October 05, 2008 at 11:02 AM
You can sweeten the deal on the Scrubbing Bubbles Max Fresh Starter kit with a coupon for a FREE refill kit HERE: http://www.scrubbingbubbles.com/coupon/2008-09-SB/

This is the best list I've found so far. I'm VERY new to couponing and have become frustrated with my lack of finding the good deals. I'm printing this list and taking it with me so hopefully I'll have a better experience.
Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to help families you do not even know!!

I really scored good at CVS I saved a big 31.40 and only paid oop 4.37 Walgreens i saved 20.38 and paid oop 26.61 I need to work on the Walgreens but I am finally figuring the system out...
Posted by: Chris Haynes | October 05, 2008 at 12:01 PM
I purchased the Lypsyl and Nivea based on reports they were included. I submitted my receipt but since they weren't on the tally sheet I couldn't mark them off. However, they did show up as approved after Walgreens "verified" (or whatever it is they do) my receipt. So I am getting the rebate for them--I would suggest it's just a glitch and try entering your receipt before returning...

The Visine at my store is ringing up at $6.99 per bottle. Then $2 off with the Walgreens ad coupon making them $4.99 each. Still not a good deal even with another $1 or $2 manufacturer's coupon.
I did get the $3 RR on the Wisp using a B1G1 and $3 off together.

Hello, I have a question. Last night I went to Walgreens and when I tried to use 3 easysaver coupons for 3 items, all the same, in ONE transaction, the cashier accused me of FRAUD and told me what I was doing was ILLEGAL. Now she didn't seem to have a problem with me using a store coupon and a manuf. coupon for the same item, but she said I could only use 1 easysaver per 1 transaction. I had never heard this before and was quite upset at accusations. The fine print states that it is one coupon per item, but doesn't say anything about transactions. But it does say that you can't use it with other offers, so how it that interpreted. Has anyone ever communicated with Walgreens about this? It really bothered me to be accused of basically stealing.

Hey--I think the Scrubbing Bubbles website also has a B1G1 coupon for the Flushable Bathroom Wipes. They are on sale for 2/$5 with a $2 mail in rebate. With the B1G1 coupon, it should come out to just $0.50 for the 2 of them. Right?
Posted by: Katherine | October 05, 2008 at 05:04 PM
I'm so embarrassed. My wife mentioned that you had taken my post off your site. I went back and looked, then read the information that it needed to be a Walgreen's deal. So sorry.
Posted by: Michael | October 05, 2008 at 05:15 PM
The P&G coupon for $1 off any 2 Crest toothpastes should still work for the Crest deal, right? That would make it $0.99 for 2 of them. That's not the same as free, but it's still pretty cheap.

I am very new to coupon shopping and love it! Why did I wait so long?

New (?) "rule" at our Wags....can only use one RR per transaction when paying. Does anyone else's Wags work this way? I recall in the past using several RR on one order. Or am I dreaming?
And no RR will print if you use any RR. That seems pretty standard now. Is that the same at your Wags?
They are getting to be real sticklers at this Wags. Geez. Tonight the manager tried to tell me my Crest manufacturer's coupon was no good on the Crest with free trial size attached. Odd. So I went and got one without the free trial size. Coupon still wouldn't scan. Manager said it was because it had to be 'Whitening' which is what is on sale this week anyway. The coupon specifically stated 'Any Crest 4.1 oz or larger or ..... (a bunch of others which included Whitening)'. Manager finally overrode it and manually input coupon.
I triple checked all my coupons before I went in there tonight so as to not hold up the line, trying not to make mistakes, etc. and use coupons for items honestly. Might have to try a different Wags in town to not have the hassle I guess.
Thanks!

Just to let everyone know, I too purchased the Lypsyl and the Nivea Men's Body Wash on the tip that they were on the web tally sheet without checking first. When I got on line however they were not there. I went ahead and submitted my form and I just checked my rebate. I was rebated the whole amount for both items even though I could not check them off on the tally sheet. I say the whole amount because the Lypsyl is listed here as a $1.99 rebate but the price at my Walgreens was $2.99. I received a $2.99 rebate. Thought you might like to know.

It has been confirmed by Walgreens customer service that they are also giving FREE after rebate for the L'Oreal Revitalift & Chemistry Hair Care that were on September's Rebates. So there are 2 more FREE after rebate items for everyone to enjoy.
Posted by: Riannon Mendoza | October 05, 2008 at 09:55 PM
I got a MC coupon for Walgreen's in my coupon insert yesterday (10/5) that's for $2/1 on the L'Oreal Products.
Posted by: Heather | October 06, 2008 at 05:29 AM
I love your site!! I have learned so much. Just wanted to mention that the coupon for the Scrubbing Bubbles Max kit is only $1, the $3 coupon is for the automatic shower cleaner. Might be a regional thing, I'm not sure; my Sunday paper is in Birmingham, AL.
Posted by: Misty | October 06, 2008 at 06:38 AM
The Crest toothpaste coupon reads: "$1 off ANY One Crest Paste 4.1oz or larger OR Liquid Gel…etc, etc" The Tooth paste on sale is Crest 6.4 oz so people should be able to use it.
Posted by: Mercedes | October 06, 2008 at 07:18 AM
PS to my previous comment on the Crest toothpaste coupons: People should still read their coupons carefully as some areas got $1 off two instead of $1 off one which may be the reason why coupon beeped for some people.
I also wanted to make sure people knew that even when sale prices may be switched on Saturday evening, Register rewards don't become active until after midnight of that that.
In short: NEVER do a register reward deal the day before the sales period is supposed to start.

In response to Laura's question about 1 RR per transaction...my Wags told me that the last time I went. I had always been able to use more than 1 per transaction, but the cashier went out of her way to tell me that I can now only use one per transaction.
Posted by: Lynne | October 06, 2008 at 08:00 AM
Thanks so much for allowing everyone to post...I love reading everyone's scenarios!
Posted by: Sarah | October 06, 2008 at 10:46 AM
Thanks for your input(s)! I have a stack of RR that I need to use....guess I'll have to split up items into multiple transactions to use them now if the new 'rule' of one per transaction is going to be in effect. I was wondering if anyone asked corporate....
Recenly I've had the second RR beep and not go through but that was before I learned the proper order "RR, MC, Wags coupons". I had been handing to the salesclerk MC, Wags coupons, then RRs so I thought it was my fault (versus a new 'rule').
Have a blessed day!

Hi, I just called Walgreens (Easy Saver) and they indeed confirmed that these 4 items were added to October's ES FAR items:
#45 Nivea for Men Body Wash
#46 LypSyl LypMoisturizer
#47 Loreal Wrinkle Revitalift
#48 Chemistry Hair Care
However, ALL 4 have a LIMIT OF 1, including the LypSyl. Is it Limit 1 or 2?

Thanks for the tips! Spent $40.66 on $72.94 worth of stuff. I am getting back $36.26 back in rebates. That means that I actually got $72.94 worth of stuff for $4.40! I think that's a pretty good deal.
Posted by: Shannon | October 06, 2008 at 02:52 PM
Are you sure the Glade Scented Oil Candle Holders are limit of 2 rebates? It says in my printed book that it's a limit of 4. (offer #31)
I'd like to know because I already got 2, but I'd love to get 2 more. Thanks!

Here is what I have found out at my Walgreens for RR. You are only allowed one Manufacture Coupon PER ITEM. The RR are considered Manufactured Coupons. So if you used a Manufactured Coupon for every item in your cart then you can't use a RR. My manager just told me that yesterday. At my Walgreens I can use more than one RR per transaction and it will print all of my RR. I haven't had too bad of luck at mine! Thank goodness! Thanks for the website!

This is the best week I have had yet at Walgreens. I spent $2.97 off my gift card. I filled an entire green bag to the top with stuff. My receipt said I saved $81.04. Plus I got $3 RR and can do $14 in rebates. My husband almost fell over when I finished my transaction and he didn't have to swipe the credit card. I love Walgreens. Lately it has been really good!
Posted by: Shellie | October 07, 2008 at 06:35 PM
Oops I clicked post too soon. I wanted to add, Thanks MSM! I couldn't have stockpiled all this stuff for stocking stuffers without you!
Posted by: Shellie | October 07, 2008 at 06:36 PM
My Walgreens wouldn't let me use the B1G1 and $5/1 coupons on the Glade Wisp Flameless candles because I was only "buying" one. I just had here void them off. I also couldn't use my crest $1/1 coupon b/c the type of toothpaste on sale didn't match the coupon. Oh well, I already have about 10 tubes stored up...but you can't pass up free toothpaste!
I'm going to try the candles at a different store today. Maybe if it doesn't work I can use two $5/1 coupons and still make $1 in overage after RR.
Thanks, Crystal for all you work. Hang in there...you're almost to the 2nd trimester!!!

Will the 'extra' rebates for October for the Nivea and Lypsyl work even if you already did them in September?
Posted by: Kris | October 08, 2008 at 11:04 AM
Another thing this week with the wisps. Some have a coupon inside them for $3 off wisp candles. That means you can buy the 2 with your first $5 off, then get 2 $3 offs. Use the $3 to buy two more and pay $3 - $3 RR.
roll this between the oral-b for keeping the RR out of your pockets

Well, I missed out on the Glade Flameless candle deal as they were all out, but I posted about the rest of my trip :)
P.S. I still have a Just For Men Touch of Gray coupon FREE to whoever emails and wants it. It's for a free box up to $9.50 in value.
Posted by: Julie | October 09, 2008 at 12:26 PM
I cannot for the life of me find the Glade Wisp candle Qs in any of my 9/7 inserts. I wonder if northeast FL didn't get them? Either way, it stinks, 'cause I really wanted to try those. Grr.
