Free salon treatment in over 40 states (May 20, 2009)

HDR_OurTrt
Talk about an incredible freebie! On Wednesday, May 20, 2009, Kerastase, in conjunction with local salons, is offering a free in salon treatment and blow dry. There are 7 different treatments to choose from, including: color enhancing, restoring dry and brittle hair, and more.

There are salons in 40 states participating in this free event. Go here to see if there is a salon near you. All you have to do is book an appointment at a participating salon on May 20, 2009 (make sure to book it during the "out Treat" hours) and then bring in the invite here.

Note: While there is no cost for the salon treatment, please do leave a tip for at least 15% of what the bill would normally cost.

Thanks, Mom to Monkeys!

Oh my gosh, thank you for posting this! I called a local salon (there was one within 5 miles of my home) and got an appointment right away. I'm definitely looking forward to this!

Darn...there's none around me. I would have loved that.

I just made an appointment too! I asked if the blow dry was complimentary too, and they said it was $25 extra for the blow dry. Just FYI.. Make sure to ask your salon when you're making the appointment. :-)

Thanks for the info too! I called an now have an appt for Wednesday as well.

So I should make the appointment right away then?? What are our treat hours?

of course my state is one of the 10 without :(

Wow! This is amazing, thanks so much for posting this!

I just tried calling, but my salon is closed today.

Love your blog!! I just gave you a blog award: http://savingmoneyforawedding.blogspot.com/2009/05/another-blog-award.html

rats, none near me. ah well. =)

Wow...great freebie. Thanks for sharing. I need a haircut badly.

How terrible that the salon Brittany called said they would charge her 25 for the blowdry. the ad clearly states AND BLOWDRY.

my salon said they charge $35-$60 extra for the blowdry too.

My salon said that you have to get a haircut for $70 to get the free treatment. So it not free after all. :(

The salon by me had no appointments on Wednesday but actually extended the offer so I was able to come on Friday! Sad to hear the other salons are not fulfilling the whole offer.

Hmmm, I didn't think to ask these ?'s when I made my appt; and I'm the 1st one of the day tomorrow. I guess I'll go and see what the, erm, cost if before I partake. I'll be quite disssapointed if the deal isn't offered completely.

when i made my appointment for today i asked about the blowdry, specifically if it was complimentary. if it weren't for you ladies i wouldn't have known better. thankfully though the salon i am going to says the treatment and blowdry both are complimentary. now i think i'm going to call them, before my 3 o'clock appointment this afternoon, to see, if in fact, there are any 'catches' i should know about.

has anyone gotten their free treatment yet. I am wondering how it went. I have mine at 7pm!!

i had my app at lunch and all was free. The treatment, the wash and the blowdry. Not a single problem. And the salon that I was at is very pricey for my taste.

I just got back from my appointment on my lunch break...thank you so much for posting this Crystal! This one goes in my "good deal" hall of fame for sure!
The participating Sacramento salon was really nice (WAY out of my normal budget). They let me know that if I didn't have the coupon I would have paid $35 for the treatment and $45 for blowdry and style then I would have paid 15% tip adding up to about $95...what did I pay? NOTHING! Not a single problem either :) She told me that Kerastase is the most expensive brand they have at their salon.

I just got back from the salon - I went to a super nice one in an expensive hotel near me. The entire thing was free. They validated my parking ticket, gave me free samples and sent me away with a bottle of water. All for a tip! I definitely felt pampered. Thanks for the information!

I went today and had a great time...

I posted pictures also - http://www.familymusings.com/2009/05/are-you-tired-of-reading-about-my-hair.html
