Old Navy: $1 flip-flop sale (Saturday, May 23, 2009 only)

Flip flop poster

Old Navy is having their annual $1 Flip-Flop sale tomorrow (Saturday, May 23, 2009)! All solid color flip-flops will be on sale for only $1 each. Limit of five per customer.

I personally have found their flip-flops to be quite durable. In fact, my one pair of Old Navy flip-flops lasted for three Summers of near-daily wear. That's what I call a bargain for $1!

Thanks, Jen!

Handy little tip! You can buy them today at regular price, then go back later on in the day on Saturday and they will adjust the price for you (confirmed by a cashier when we went yesterday!)! Of course, this is only a good deal if it's easy to go to OldNavy twice in two days. But it sure cuts down on having to be in all the chaos of the morning!LOL!

Do these include sizes for toddlers? Thanks.

I went last year about 10 minutes after the store opened. It was CRAZY.

Beware the black ones...I wore a pair for a summer and they turned my heels black and I didn't get that to wear off until the following Spring! It was horrible! LOL Going to get a lighter color this year - thanks for the heads-up!

I'm an employee and I'd be wary of trying to buy ahead and get your money credited back to you. Gap inc. has really tightened up their policies. I'd make sure you call and talk to a manager.

Beware the white ones, too. They get so dirty and yucky looking so fast! Best options I have always found are NAVY BLUE and BROWN :)

what time the store opens tomorrow?

i really want to know at wat time they r opening the store becuz i bet there is going to be a lot of people waiting outside the store and, maybe they r sleeping outside the store right now.

$1 FLIP FLOPS ARE A GOOD EXCUSE TO GO TO OLD NAVY TO BEGIN WITH! BUT THIER FLIP FLOPS ARE VERY DURABLE.

how quick do the flip flops sell out

i found these to be very similar in quality as the dollar tree ones, which are always a buck!!!

Just got back....one little rack with size 13 in black and brown. Perhaps they would give a rain check.

My daughter and I arrived at 8:00 when they opened her in DFW Texas. Each of us got 5 pair (the limit). We did have to wait in line a bit over 2 HOURS!!! But we are all stocked up for the summer!!!

got my 2 pairs!

To me, the 2 hour wait in line was not worth the price . They are regularly $3.50 online. So to save merely 2.50/pair is not worth the wait for me. As everyone said, they are very durable. ONly my husband busts thru his. I did not wait--the store was a madhouse and all the racks were empty and I got there 20 minutes after the store opened.

We went to one in Houston about an hour after opening. It was insane, the line wrapped completely around the store. The only sizes visible on the racks were 5's and 6's and there were about 30 people tearing through boxes of them on the display tables - pushing and throwing elbows. We turned around and left after about 30 seconds. They're $3.50 regularly and $2.50 if you buy more than one pair... and $2.50 will be so worth it to avoid that experience.

I was disappointed I could not go on Saturday until I read in our newspaper that our local Old Navy needed the police and firefighters to come out to deal with the out of control crowd. Now that's insanity that I do not care to deal with, no matter how good the deal!

I was on vacation while this sale was going on, BUT found an old navy at the Tanger outlets. and they were having th sale, NO LIMIT! woo hoo. didn't know they HADa limit until I just read it in your post lol!

The wait wasn't bad. and I bought 11 pairs!
